Thomas H. Klayer
beloved husband of Mary Klayer (nee Leicht), loving father of Daniel (Jennifer) Klayer and Allison (David) Weber, grandfather of Jenna, Lauren, Meghan, Brendan, Natalie, Jonathan, Ryan and Stephen, son of the late Philip and Elsie Klayer, brother of the late Dolores West, Philip Klayer, Donald Klayer, Joyce Schachleiter and Janice Snyder, son-in-law of Maria Leicht,  many nieces and nephews.

Tom was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He and Mary enjoyed traveling, gardening, and many home improvement projects.
Tom was an active member of Westwood First Presbyterian church for over 55 years and served the church as an Elder, Deacon and Trustee. He and his wife were married in the sanctuary in 1966 and raised their two children in the church.
Boy Scouts of America held a special place in Tom’s life, and he witnessed his son and three of his grandsons become Eagle Scouts. He completed Woodbadge.
A special highlight each year was a fishing trip to Florida with his son and grandsons.

Tom passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024  at age 82.  Visitation will be Friday, July 5th from 10 AM until time of funeral at 12 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd.  Donations may be made to Friends of Music Fund, Westwood First Presbyterian Church 3011 Harrison Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
