Thomas J. Zeiser, born on June 11, 1953, in Cincinnati, passed away on February 2, 2025. He will be remembered fondly for his infectious sense of humor and unwavering spirit.
A proud graduate of Elder High School, Thomas dedicated over 20 years of his career to CG&E and Duke Energy, making numerous contributions to the field. Beyond his professional life, he proudly served in the United States Navy, a time that he held in high regard throughout his life.
Thomas was known for being set in his ways, yet his warmth and joy for good jokes made him a beloved figure among friends and family. His rough exterior often belied the loving and supportive nature that those closest to him cherished.
In his leisure, Thomas enjoyed playing baseball, softball, and golf, activities that brought him much joy and camaraderie. He also had a passion for horticulture, often embarking on small projects in the garden. His grandchildren lovingly referred to him as Papa Z, a title that encapsulated his gentle spirit and deep love for family.
Thomas's legacy will live on through his family. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Brian) Doll, and his cherished grandchildren, Josephine and Emily Doll. He is also mourned by his siblings: Rocky (Alice) Zeiser, Julie (Randy) Davis, and Patricia Zeiser, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will remember him fondly.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 15th at Jim and Jack's on the River, 3456 River Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45204 from 1PM till 4PM.
