Lyons; brother of Lou Lyons, Karen Rudd (Rusty), Mary Kathryn Lyons (deceased), Shawn Lyons (Maureen), Chris Lyons (Nancy), and Kerry Lyons (Renee); and uncle to nine nieces and nephews, as well as eight great nieces and nephews, died Wednesday, January 18. A 1977 graduate of Elder High School in Price Hill, Timothy collaborated with his close friend and illustrator Robert T. Rhode to write the children's book titled "Emma's Gift from Africa," in which Timothy described himself: "Coming from a large family, I enjoy being with children. I always told stories to my nieces and nephews, and now I am creating plots and characters for their sons and daughters. ... My passions are rehabbing and cooking. I also have many pets ..." Timothy gave over three decades of service to Greater Cincinnati hospitals. During his career, Timothy was supervisor of Central Services at Christ Hospital, manager of Sterile Processing for Anderson and Clermont Hospitals, and supervisor of Sterile Processing at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
