Cherished grandfather of Alex, Hanna, Alison, Molly Rose & the future baby Smithmeyer. Brother of Lance Charles (Helen) Dase of South Carolina and the late Gene Dase. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Dase. Many nieces & nephews. Monday, December 6, 2004 age 72. Walter was a member of the Delhi Athletic Assoc. Hall of Fame. Friends may call Friday 5-8 PM at the St. John's Westminster Union Church 1085 Neeb Rd. Funeral service Saturday 10:00 AM at the church. Burial following at St. John's Cemetery.
