William A. beloved husband of the late Dorothy "Dot" Mertz (nee Dean), loving father of Mary Lou Greenwood, Bill (Terri) Mertz, Susan (Greg) Meyer, Deborah (Harold) Lipps, Cynthia (David) Rodgers, Peggy (Robert) Martin and Richard (Angela) Mertz, dear grandfather of Jerry, Michelle, Lisa, Billy, Nick, Ben, Carrie, Katie, John, Kim, Nicole, Myles, Natalie and Molly, great grandfather of 14 and brother of Jack Mertz. Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Funeral Mass Friday 11 AM at St. John the Baptist 5361 Dry Ridge Road (45252).
