beloved husband of Betty Ehrman (nee Metz) for 65 years; loving father of Patti (Nick) Lahni, Pam (Terry) Kent, Becky (Mark) Specker; grandfather of Patrick (Rachel), Christopher (Erin), Katie (Chris), Nikki, Bridget (Brendan), Steven, Adam, Mark (Katie), Sarah, John, Marie; great-grandfather of Raegan, Alex, Sydney, Adelynn, Mackenzie, Ethan; brother of Dan (Betty-late) Ehrman and the late Mary (Art) Fischer, Alice (Earl) Neltner, Cecil (Jack) Schulten, Helen (Dick) Hand, Ruth (Art) Neltner, Jack (Ann) Ehrman, Larry (Joy) Ehrman, Dick (Mary Claire-living) Ehrman, Tony (Mary-living) Ehrman; numerous nieces and nephews; son of the late John and Florence Ehrman; loving brother-in-law of Jerry Metz, Bev Metz and the late Joyce (Bill) Martin.
Al was a devout Catholic attending Mass daily, and his wife and family was his pride and joy. He was an avid photographer and videographer. His favorite pastime was attending and videotaping all of his family events, especially highlighting his grandkids' special events. He retired from P&G after 39 years and was instrumental in developing Pringles and Jiff Peanut Butter. He was an Army Veteran based out of Ft. Hood, Texas. He was a proud Elder Panther, Class of '53.
Al passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the age of 88. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17th from 5-8 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home 4619 Delhi Rd. Funeral Mass Thursday, January 18th at 10 AM at St. Dominic Church (live streaming will be available at https://www.youtube.com
@st.dominicparishdelhicinci7485/streams) Memorials may be made to St. Dominic Education Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
