Peter Kanoza

Peter Kanoza, age 63 of Covington, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Dec. 17th, 2023. Born June 14th, 1960. He was the son of the late Daniel Joseph Kanoza and Patricia Ellen (Hurst) Kanoza.  Pete is survived by his brothers Tom (Sheila), Jeff, Joe (Deceased), Mike, sister Julie Baird (James), partner Sandra Sandlin, and many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Elder High School in 1978, earned a Mechanical Design degree from the University of Cincinnati and was Pursuing a Nursing degree.   Pete was a loving charismatic person always pushing himself to improve in all his endeavors. He loved to be around family and was the catalyst for jokes and humor at family events. As a youth, Pete loved competitive swimming, winning many awards. He had a passion for singing and loved to sing in his church choir.  Pete was an avid hiker; he and Sandra would travel to various parks to enjoy this passion.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 13th at 11am at Holy Spirit Church at 825 Washington Avenue in Newport, KY.  Pete will be interned next to his mother and brother at St Joseph Cemetery Delhi, Ohio.
